In March 2024 Todd and I submitted our mission papers, beginning the process of serving our first senior mission together. We had no clue what was in store for us when we received our mission call to serve in the Denmark Copenhagen mission, assigned as Member, Leader Support missionaries in Iceland. Who could have imagined the experiences we would have, the challenges we would face, the joys and sorrows we would feel, the friends we would make, or the blessings we would receive? There is something to be said about the growth that comes from giving our hearts and souls to the cause of Christ. Now, more than two years later, our faith in Jesus Christ has increased, our marriage is stronger, and our desires to serve the Lord even greater.
Thank you for being part of our mission experience. Thank you for praying for us, supporting us, loving us, reading our mission journal, and cheering us along. And, thank you for supporting our family.

As we begin our returned missionary life we lift our hearts in praise to our God for His goodness and His mercy. He has sustained us. He has blessed us. He has carried us. It has been a joy and a privilege to serve Him as missionaries in the latter-days. To quote Todd, “It Was Awesome!”
“Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being the first that should rise.” 2 Nephi 2:8
