September 2, 2025 Iceland Zone Conference & Mission tour with President & Sister Aidukaitis.
As part of our zone conference we made President & Sister Aidukaitis a small gift. Each of the elders shared a picture of themselves somewhere in Iceland along with a thought about serving as missionaries in Iceland. I made it into a little booklet that we gave to the Aidukaitis’s along with an Icelandic Book of Mormon and assorted Icelandic treats.
Todd and I also shared some of our favorite pictures we’ve taken while we’ve been here.
Opening page —
President & Sister Aidukaitis!
Welcome to Iceland! In this little booklet we have included some of our favorite pictures we have taken while we have been serving our mission in Iceland. And, we want to let you know a little bit more about all of the wonderful missionaries the Lord has called and assigned to serve in this beautiful land. Each of the missionaries has shared their picture and testimony with you along with their love and gratitude for your leadership and support. While your visit to Iceland is short, we share with you its beauty, its chocolate, its licorice, and our love for this country and people.

Love, Todd & Pamela Richardson, Reykjavik Iceland Senior Missionaries 2025
Elder Morales — I feeI like I am one of the most blessed missionaries in the world. I was given the opportunity to come to Iceland to serve the lord and the people here on this Island. I am reminded of the power that God has everyday when we go out and look at his creation. I have been granted to come to know my savior more personally and am grateful for the testimony that I have of his love and commitment to all of us.

Elder Mijares — I know The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth today. Serving in Iceland has given me the opportunity to see first hand the miracle of the lords converting power in so many peoples lives. I know the what I am learning will bless me for a lifetime to come!

Elder Benzley — My mission in Iceland has been incredible. For as long as I can remeber I have been dreaming of following in my Dad’s footsteps and serving the incredible saints of this isle of the sea! From the shores of the Westman Islands where the restored gospel was first heard in Iceland to the tips of the fjörds of the north, this entire country truly is a perfect example of what Alma says “All things denote there is a God”. The opportunity to be in Iceland declaring glad tiding of great joy to all people and to relentlessly pursue his children has been the privlege of my life. The marvelous work and wonder is going forth in Iceland and I am so grateful to have been just a small part of it! This country is and forever will be for me, home! I know the Lord has a plan for his people, a plan for those on the isles of the sea and in every nation of the world. The Lord is hastening his work in Iceland and across the globe, he is preparing his people for his return, this is the good news, this is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Elder Geertsen — Being a missionary in Iceland has been the most amazing experience of my life. It has provided me with an incredible opportunity to not only try to strengthen testimonies of others but also strengthen my own testimony! The nature beauty of Iceland, language and the people truly make it a special place.

Elder Monzon — Hi my name is Elder Monzon and I am loving my mission! Love every single bit about it! Love being here in Iceland. It is a blessing to be an instrument in the Lords hands and cant wait for what is to come!!!

Elder Nielsen — Serving my mission has truly helped me know for myself that this is His work, and I am a part of it. I know He lives and that the people of Iceland are beloved children of His.

Elder Morel — I have loved every single day of my mission and I have come to know greater joy than I have ever known before. My mission has helped me grow my testimony in ways I never thought possible. Because of my mission, I can confidently say that I know that God is our Heavenly Father, that Jesus is the Christ and that He Lives and died on the cross for us. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that the true and restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is found on the earth again. I know that the priesthood is restored and that we are lead by a true prophet of God today, President Russell M. Nelson. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Elder Young — Being in Iceland has been a dream come true and I’ve never felt closer to my Savior than I have while in this beautiful country. The beautiful landscapes are each a powerful testimony of God’s goodness and power. I know my Redeemer lives and I’m reminded of that fact each day by being here.

Elder Moyer — I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and that through His Atonement, we can find peace and forgiveness. I have come to know this fact as I have served Heavenly Father’s children in this beautiful country of Iceland. My mission has taught me lessons that I know could not have been learned in any other circumstance. I have learned that I have been called to a certain place and time for a specific purpose, and I can be an instrument in the Lord’s hands as I submit my will to His.

Elder Nehren — I have a testimony that God exists, and I know that he’s my Father in Heaven! He loves me and has a plan for me. I have a testimony that obedience to God’s commandments brings blessings, and I know that as we choose the right, we’ll be led by the Holy Ghost. I know that the scriptures are the word of God, and we have living prophets and Apostles today. I know that sincere, conscientious study of His word brings light, happiness, and understanding. I have a testimony of the Lord’s guiding hand in missionary work, and that diligence brings joy and trust. I know this is God’s work, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God’s kingdom on earth. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Elder Ramos — Edwnur has made progress over the course of his mission. We see more interest in everything that has to do with better understanding the gospel and in the same way he strives to do the service that his mission requires. It has been a beautiful challenge for him, where at times he has felt that perhaps it is something that he has believed would be difficult to begin, but his faith is greater and he has walked in that feeling and has managed to experience the joy of serving others. We are very happy with each step of faith he is taking in carrying out his mission here in Iceland.

Elder & Sister Mogenhan — Serving a mission has been good for us – a great blessing. We get to spend everyday together. We get to see & experience the beauty of Iceland. We get to be a small part of this Great Gathering work. We get to know the young Elders and love teaching with them. We get to deepen our understanding of the Book of Mormon. We get to do all this & more serving our Heavenly Father. And we get to strengthen our testimony of the Atonement of Jesus Christ as we serve people here. We get to love more deeply each other and the Gospel of our Savior. All these “we gets” happen because we are willing to give. To give whatever our Father in Heaven asks.

President & Sister Richardson — All of our lives we have planned to serve a mission together. Now, as senior missionaries, we are having the time of our lives! It is a gift and a blessing to be missionaries for our Savior Jesus Christ. Iceland is an incredible and beautiful country and as we are serving here we are growing closer to each other, closer to the members, closer to the missionaries, and closer to the Lord. We feel the love Heavenly Father has for His children and we are honored to play a small role in sharing His love with those we meet and minister to.
